Samit was working as an investment banker in Australia when he first heard about venture capital. It resonated with him so much that in 2017, he packed up his bags and moved to SF. He's been an early-stage investor ever since, having first learned the craft at AngelList and then Bain Capital Ventures. At 1984, Samit focuses on vertical AI, where he's built an extensive portfolio (Revv, Alex, CollectWise) and has become a prolific writer (read his blog here).
